Darrah Land Surveying, PLLC is a Professional Land Surveying firm that has been providing surveying services to Northern New York and the Greater Glens Falls Area since 2006.
Our staff includes graduates of Paul Smiths’ College and SUNY ESF Wanakena Ranger School.
In 2006, our firm began by obtaining the maps and records of Wayne R. Raymond. Mr. Raymond was in business from 1977 to 2006 in Glens Falls, NY, servicing Essex, Saratoga, Warren and Washington counties. As part of obtaining Mr. Raymond’s collection, we received curated files of Homer Ehle.
In 2014 Darrah Land Surveying obtained our Federal Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), and we also obtained our New York State Certified Women Business Enterprise (WBE) certification in 2015.
In 2018 we moved to our current location in Lake Luzerne and obtained the maps and records of David F. Barass, Land Surveyor. Mr. Barrass was in business from 1992-2016 in Corinth, NY and serviced Essex, Saratoga and Warren counties. Prior to that he was part of the firm Rist Frost and retained curated survey records which we have also obtained.
In 2022 we added to our records collection with the acquisition of DL Dickinson Associates. Mr. Dickinson was in business from 1978-2022 in Lake George NY, and serviced Warren, Washington, Saratoga and Essex Counties. Prior to his retirement, he had acquired the records of Earl D. Armstrong, Marvin M. Spector, P. Raymond Keyes and Joseph E. LaFlure, which we have also obtained.
